Disney Just ‘Ruined’ ‘Encanto’ With the ‘Terrible’ Megan Thee Stallion ‘Bruno’ Rap

Disney’s “We’re Not Talking About Bruno” Encanto (2021) is the most streamed song in history, recently surpassing Disney’s “Let It Go”, the infamous song by Frozen (2013).

Winning the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, Encanto is on top of the world. Yet the Oscars just “ruined” the famous song with Megan Thee Stallion covering her live performance:

All of this performance sucks.

Started with the tempo completely wrong, then a random high-speed rap section, then turning into noise instead of the beat the song has in the movie when the singers are layered. Basically awful.

One fan made a great point about the performance:

All they had to do was sing the song as it was and they spoiled it with a remix. We didn’t even get Dolores’ slice!

Disney has once again conquered the world with Encantoan Oscar-winning film, notably with Lin-Manuel Miranda’s impressive soundtrack is sweeping the internet, mainly “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”, “The Family Madrigal”, “Surface Pressure” and Oscar-nominated “Dos Oruguitas”.

Before the Oscars debut, fans were thrilled to learn that a live performance of “Bruno” would be performed with the original cast. Yet once the song started, viewers were “disappointed” and “disappointed” that Disney didn’t play the actual song, instead having rapper Megan Thee Stallion cover the entire performance with new verses:

I don’t know what it was, but it definitely wasn’t “We’re not talking about Bruno”.

Without a doubt, the song’s most popular section, the Dolores (Adassa) rap, was completely cut out of the live performance, making way for Megan Thee Stallion’s part of the song instead.
