BTS adds humor and sweetness to new music video for ‘Butter (Hotter Remix)’ : Bollywood News

After a week of breaking records with their second English single, 21st century pop icons BTS have released a new music video featuring ‘Butter (Hotter Remix)’. The music video is an amalgam of fun, electric, wacky and yet very seductive.

While the official video that was released on May 21 was all about the electric performance with razor-sharp choreography, the remix version is more laid back and adds a lot of goofy BTS humor. Dressed in sharp black and white costumes with glittering embellishments, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook get their individual stars in this release. There’s Suga’s signature dance tunes, Jimin’s anti-gravity moves, V’s flirtatious yet clumsy charms, J-Hope’s flowing moves, Jin’s hilarious tunes, RM’s strong personality and strong moments. by Jungkook. On May 28 at midnight, Big Hit Music announced the remix on Weverse which read, “We would like to express our gratitude to all of ARMY for the incredible love and support you have shown for ‘Butter’, BTS’ new digital single. To provide all fans with even more diverse ways to enjoy BTS’s music, we’ve prepared a remixed version of ‘Butter’.”

He read further, “‘Butter (Hotter Remix)’ will give off a delightfully different feel to the bright, lively vibe of the original song. We hope ‘Butter (Hotter Remix)’ and his new take on BTS’ inimitable charm will fill your entire day with sizzling energy.”

On May 25, Guinness World Records confirmed that the septet’s new single broke the record for most viewers for a video premiere on YouTube with 3.9 million concurrent viewers for its May 21, 2021 premiere. The record was previously held by BTS themselves for their latest single. ‘Dynamite’, which had 3 million concurrent viewers. Additionally, the single broke the record for most watched YouTube music video in 24 hours with 108,200,000 views, which was confirmed by Youtube on May 24. They also broke the record for the most watched YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group. After three YouTube recordings, BTS went to Spotify. ‘Butter’ garnered “11,042,335 global streams in a single day, breaking the record for most streamed track on Spotify in the first 24 hours”.

The pop icons made their debut at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, followed by a second performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. They’ll keep the momentum going with their appearance on the 2021 Good Morning America Summer Concert Series on May 28. BTS recently announced the BTS 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO online livestream event, held to celebrate the 8th anniversary of BTS and ARMY.
