The "Foundchild" NGO founded by Ms Gabriela Arias Uriburu is a leading NGO in the world. It places the child as a fundamental individual in the family. It seeks the rights of children to live happily. Because of her untiring efforts the Organization of American states has denounced the abduction of minors and subscribed to "Convention of the Childs' Right", "The Hague Convention on Minors abductions" and "Inter American Convention on minors restitution". Ms Uriburu has written two books, "Help I want my children" and "Jordan the Crossing", "In search of my children".

Presentation

EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE FOR CHILDREN

To find a child who has endured parental abduction means to give him his family back, to enable him to grow in contact with both parents, as every child deserves because…
“EVERY BOY AND GIRL, DURING THE STAGE OF EMOTIONAL SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL GROWTH SHOULD BE IN FULL CONTACT WITH BOTH THEIR PARENTS, WITH BOTH THEIR CULTURES”.
“In every circumstance of life- even in the very midst of a tragedy- we may interconnect through our internal vital light sources. We may reach these sources exclusively by unfolding our artistic virtues and the childhood principle that all of us possess. We are all artists, we are all pieces of art, we are all childhood,” said Lic Birabén, Foundchild’s Scientific Director.

This principle may be achieved and applied through:
An International Family Court: ready to mediate in favor of children to be in full contact with both parents, may they dwell in different countries.
Childhood Land: a natural space devoted to childhood, a place for integration and meeting safe from conflictive and traumatic elements that crop up in situations such as abduction from part of one of the parents.
Bilateral Agreements between States: to achieve family re-bonding.
Issuing a world project about the possibility of working at schools, with teachers acting as mediators before parents and children living situations of violence or abuse as the first efficient step taken in search of prevention.
All these are revolutionary tools transforming legal and social order to protect the future inter-cultural society born in the planetary integration. It is in this global context where States must guarantee the re-establishment of the rights of children.

Children must be a State issue
Children must generate State policies
Children deserve to grow in full contact with both parents
Children are THE PRESENT, not tomorrow.
