Dr Antonio Rossin

Dr. Antonio Rossin analyzed the
links between language patterning and mind frame work. He
spotted out basic educational models on personality self
building and future living style of humans. He has designed
"Dialectic Education" that helps mothers in bringing up
children of flexible personality. According to him the
autonomous flexible personality is resistant to drug
addiction. This has been his important contribution to child
care.
Education to
Democracy starts from inside the Family
“Since Democracy and Peace are products of people’s minds,
it is inside the people’s minds that Democracy and Peace
must be built first,” Antonio Rossin says and analyzes the
links between language patterning learning and mind frame
self-fixing in children, searching for how to foster
autonomous critical thinking, self-consciousness and the
ability to share-in to society with creative and responsible
proposals
These characteristics of human mind parallel the basic
requirements of Democracy. Rossin spots out two opposite
parenting models on which children’s personality
self-building – their future living style – depends,
according to two main trends: either rigid conservativeness
of Fundamentalism or flexible autonomy of Democracy.
The sensitive age for applying – more or less awarely –
these models is zero-to-three, thus inside the family and
before schooling, when parents are the only teachers. The
flexible personality is also known as the more resistant to
the risk of drugs addiction. Rossin’s proposal, called
"Dialectic Education" (DE), presents therefore a means of
Primary Prevention of Drugs Addiction.
DE goes along with the Humanistic Psichology headlines
developed by Rogers and Maslow, and introduced to schools
and kindergarten by Montessori. Substantially, DE offers
parents the know-how to apply Montessori’s principles since
the earliest learning of language and social relationships,
thus inside the family from birth to schooling age.
DE has been ultimately developed as “Objective Flexibility
Project” by Marinella Longhi, school headmistress in Rovigo
Italy, who presented it as the Italian partnership share to
the European Project Socrates Grundvig 2 A New Chance. The
project is work in progress.
Rossin’s educational know-how aims to meet with this
“Democratic Family” goal, as a target of Awakening Planetary
Consciousness. The addressed educational problem is but
ubiquitous: accordingly, DE calls parents all over the world
to perform their irreplaceable task with greater awareness,
starting from Family communication relationship grassroots
bottom-up as the place where Democracy and Peace shall be
built first.
