There is a strange phenomenon that happens every day within the business etiquette world. In reality it’s so -on the market,’ that I guess people don’t even realize that they are doing it. Did you ever carefully take heed to individuals’s voicemails. How believable are they? Do individuals know that they aren’t following via on their WORD every day- 5, 10, even perhaps 20 times A DAY?

-I am out of the workplace but will return your call as soon as I return.-
-Depart a message and I will return your call promptly.-
-I’m on the telephone or away from my desk, but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.-

Actually?
How many of you’ve left a message and not gotten a return name? How many of you might have something similar in your voicemail, and do not return ALL of your calls? So are we technically mendacity? Should we alter our voicemails to replicate what our actions will probably be?

Let’s take this up a notch to the topic of Professionalism and Business Etiquette. I’m not right here to say there are proper or fallacious answers right here, just throwing out some questions.

I do my finest to return ALL calls , even if I know they’re salespeople, that I can’t help, they cannot help me, or I am just not interested. At the least they cared enough about my enterprise to reach out to me.
